JP54 aviation kerosene
Not an internationally traded specification. There is no JP54 grade. "Grade 54" is a Colonial Pipeline fungible batch code for domestic US aviation kerosene, not a fuel quality anyone can load against at a foreign port. The aviation fuel that moves in international trade is Jet A-1.

What to ask for instead
If you have been offered this, here is what will actually get you a quotation.
- 01 For civil aviation turbine fuel, ask for Jet A-1 to DEF STAN 91-091 or ASTM D1655
- 02 Ask which JIG-certified terminal the fuel is held in and who the into-plane supplier is
- 03 Ask for the refinery certificate of quality and the recertification record
Tell us what you actually need
Describe the duty the fuel has to do and the destination, and we will tell you which grade that is and quote it.
