Nitrogen, phosphate and compound products. Sold on nutrient units and rejected on caking, so how it arrives matters as much as how it assays.

• MAP (monoammonium phosphate)

• Naphtha

• Base oil

• Metallurgical coke

• Coking coal

• Reinforcing bar

• Steel billet

  Semi-finished square section for re-rolling into bar, rod and section. Traded on chemistry and casting soundness rather than on mechanical properties.

• Wire rod

  Hot-rolled rod in coil for drawing, mesh, fastener and cord manufacture. The drawing shop buys consistency across the coil, not a headline grade.

• Hot-rolled coil

  Flat-rolled product 600 mm wide and over, for tube, section, drum and general fabrication. Pickled and oiled is a different product from black coil at a different price.

Grains, pulses, oils, sugar and seeds. Crop year and the contract form usually matter more than the origin on the label.

• Cane sugar

  Refined and raw cane sugar. The ICUMSA colour value defines the grade — 45 for refined white, higher values for mill white and raw.

• Chickpeas

  Kabuli and desi chickpeas. Calibre in millimetres is the primary commercial variable and drives the price step.

• Lentils

  Red, green and speciality lentils, whole and split. Grading systems differ by origin, so give us your tolerances rather than a grade name.

• Yellow & green peas

  Long grain white, parboiled, basmati and broken rice. Broken percentage is the headline grade variable.

• Wheat

  Crude and refined palm oil, olein and stearin. The RSPO supply chain model your customer requires often constrains the origin more than the specification does.

• Used cooking oil

  Collected and filtered cooking oil for biodiesel, HVO and SAF feedstock. The certification chain is worth more than the oil.

Terms that circulate widely in offer emails and do not correspond to a product anyone can deliver. We publish them because being asked is common, and knowing why the answer is no is worth more than a quotation.

• D2 diesel, GOST 305-82

  A designation that pairs a number from one country with a standard from another, and matches no product either of them sells. We are asked for it constantly and we do not quote it.

• JP54 aviation kerosene

  Not an internationally traded specification. There is no JP54 grade. "Grade 54" is a Colonial Pipeline fungible batch code for domestic US aviation kerosene, not a fuel quality anyone can load against at a foreign port. The aviation fuel that moves in international trade is Jet A-1.

• Diesel D6

  Not a specification anyone sells under that name. The real product behind the number is No. 6 fuel oil under ASTM D396, and "D6" appears in offer emails as a virgin fuel oil at volumes and prices no refinery quotes.
