- 01 Governing standard and grade — BS 4449 B500B or B500C, ASTM A615 Gr 60 or Gr 80, ISO 6935-2, or a national equivalent
- 02 Diameter range and length
- 03 Yield strength, tensile strength and the tensile-to-yield ratio your code requires
- 04 Elongation, and total elongation at maximum force
- 05 Carbon equivalent, where the bar will be welded
- 06 Rib geometry and bond requirement
- 07 Bundle weight, tag marking and rolled-in mill mark
- 08 Third-party certification required — CARES, SASO/SABER, or the destination scheme
