- 01 Section size and length — 6 m and 12 m are standard
- 02 Grade — 3SP or 5SP to GOST 380, Q235B, or a chemistry to your own re-rolling requirement
- 03 Carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus and sulphur ranges
- 04 Residuals — copper, chromium, nickel, tin — where the finished grade is sensitive to them
- 05 Boron, chromium or other micro-alloying additions, and whether they are permitted
- 06 Casting route — continuous cast or ingot — and internal soundness requirement
- 07 Corner radius, rhomboidity and surface condition tolerance
